Leviathan is a metaphore of evil itself, of evil which is disgusting and attractive at the same time. Even the author tries not to be concrete, all the indicia leads to the Balkan and the concrete stories of Milochevich, Mladic and Karadzic reflects there.

THEATER DIRECTOR

“ Drama and the performance mixes serious and pathetic moments with black and morbid humour. The charisma of the dictator is put in contrast with his primitive and neverending sexual appetite to which any of the woman can’t resist. Leviathan is a pathological personality, arrogant, cynic and not really intelligent. At the same, it is an actor’s masterpiece of Alois Švehlík who shows all the possible features of the character. The comic in his acting reveals from the fear. This absolute power of the hero cross all the borders, with is sexual appetite, even an incest with his daughter is frighteningly  natural.”
