“In my opinion, the form of the stage reading is very important part of theatrical production. It allows to new and promising plays to be presented, to be seen, to be discovered. Basic strength of this form is of course to let the text sound. Somebody can contradict that it is just a compromise between the performance and literature but I think that nowadays when all the budgets of theaters are decreased and there are less and less money in the culture, this is one of the ways how contemporary drama can survive and exist on the stage.”
